The 2019 Lok Sabha elections are upon us. In 2014, the Modi wave was riding high on the promises of ending corruption and promoting ethical economic policies, but the failure of demonitisation, as well as the malpractices of the state in the Rafale scam, expose the lies that the BJP-led government has been churning for five whole years! Despite enjoying a full majority and control over the economic sector, joblessness continues to be a thorn in the flesh of the country. Remember also the haste with which the GST was implemented, and has only transformed into another burden for the common man. Now that reports have proved that demonitisation did nothing to recover black money, but only slowed down the country's economic growth, what new ploy are they going to hide their failures behind?
