Bhagat Singh, the legendary Indian freedom fighter,  is credited by some as one of the revolutionaries who ushered in a new chapter in India’s struggle for independence.  In this special sit-down for Newsclick, D. Raghunandan of the Delhi Science Forum and Professor Chaman Lal, Bhagat Singh’s biographer,  discuss the legend’s place as an Indian icon, his contributions,  and their relevance in the current political scenario.
