Sahitya Akademi Award winner K P Ramanunni donated a part of his prize money to Junaid’s family. The Malayalam novelist won the award for his book Daivathinte Pusthakam. Speaking to the Indian Cultural Forum, the writer explains why he chose to donate his prize money to the family of the16-year old teenager who was lynched by Hindu fanatics last year.
