On August 18, Delhi Science Forum, Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (MANS), Andhvishwas Virodhi Manch, and the Indian Cultural Forum (ICF) organised a programme titled ‘Scientific Temper: Why we need it?’. The speakers included Avinash Patil (MANS), Nandita Narain (St. Stephen’s College, DU), Keki Daruwalla (ICF), D. Raghunandan (Delhi Science Forum), Dhruv Raina (JNU) and Gauhar Raza (Andhvishwas Virodhi Manch).
In this excerpt from the entire conference, Avinash Patil talks about the investigations on the rationalists murders. Patil also talks about why the right wing organisations like Sanatan Sanstha have been attacking people promoting scientific temper.
