Bhopal Collective a group of progressive activists, scientists and artists, along with other progressive groups, are organising a three day event, the Festival of Resistance, to protest the unmaking of India and to celebrate its diversity. Indian Writers' Forum is one of the organisers of the Bhopal Jan Utsav. Different organisations and individuals, responding to a call by eminent individuals and movements, will be converging in Bhopal to lend their support to the festival, scheduled for 26 to 28 November, 2017. The three day festival will include spaces for debate, proposals for alternatives, and action; spaces for exhibitions; spaces for songs and skits; spaces for poetry reading; spaces explaining scientific rationality.
Venue: Ravindra Bhawan Complex in Shamla Hills, Bhopal (near Polytechnic Chauraha), and Halls in adjoining Gandhi Bhawan and Hindi Bhawan).
