Friends, We are aware of the the heights of violence and series of lynching happening across the country, it is a serious challenge in front of us. Khudai Khidmatgar with the support of solidarity organizations took three different initiatives to handle the issue, like legal initiatives, providing emergency aid to the victims family, creating awareness through several events to stop these incidents. We also moved a petition in the Supreme Court in this regard, anyhow the condition is becoming worse day by day. We also believe that we all should involve in this issue taking as priority, must have to fight against this incident, else it would be proved as serious disease in the society, a large mass in this society accepting this style of violence and even the Government is playing moderate role in seriously handling this issue.
When the tyranny at its peak, then the Peace-Builders should work proactively amongst the people rather than organising seminar and discussion on the issue of mob lynching. Therefore, reaching out the people is the only solution for us so that we can infuse the message of love, harmony and fraternity in them. So, Khudai Khidmatgar under the Leadership of Faisal Khan and Kripal Singh decided to organise a cycle yatra with their team, on 19th October from the grave of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad- Delhi to Hydari Manzil- (the place chosen by Gandhi ji to counter the communal conflict in 1947 in Bengal), Gandhi Bhawan- Kolkata on 14th November September (the Birth anniversary pt Jawahar lal Nehru).
Moreover, this will be an informal type of Yatra during which we will interact not just with known people but to the unknown individual of the Nukkads through Nukkad Sabhas. During the yatra, we will distribute bilingual parcha in Hindi and Bengali, conduct talks and discussions with the public through colleges, schools, organizations, giving hope, taking promise to maintain the society peace and progressive. Not just this, we will be exchanging numbers and becoming friends on social media for a longer connectivity because doctor never leave their patients until and unless his disease is cured completely. The yatra begins from Delhi, will travel through Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal.
