This report exposes the fake news and hate-mongering carried out by many Indian TV channels blaming the Tablighi Jamaat and Indian Muslims for the spread of COVID-19 in India. We accept that the Tablighis did make the mistake of gathering in their Delhi centre while the disease was spreading. But many other religious and political gatherings also happened in India at the same time. The way Indian media maligned Muslims with insulting ways only speaks of their communal prejudice.
