If a countrywide lockdown was deemed necessary by the government, the society and by all of us to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, then the rules of lockdown should have been equal for the poor and rich alike. Social activist Harsh Mander says that we have to ponder upon how and why did we build such a country that whenever crisis strikes, the difference between the two Indias- of the haves and have nots- becomes ever so stark.
