On July 27, 2023, Jana Natya Manch & LeftWord Books organised an online solidarity meeting for The Freedom Theatre.
The Freedom Theatre in the Jenin Refugee Camp in the occupied West Bank, Palestine, is among the most remarkable theatre institutions in the world. The recent Israeli raid on the camp — the worst in over twenty years — again demonstrated TFT’s incredible resilience.
Three members of The Freedom Theatre — Ahmed Tobasi (Artistic Director), Mustafa Sheta (Producer) & Zoe Lafferty (Associate Director) also joined the meeting.
