The topic was addressed by Prof G. N Devy, Chairperson, The People’s Linguistic Survey of India, Obaid Siddiqi Chair Professor, National Center for Biological Sciences – Tata Institute for Fundamental Research, & Honorary Senior Fellow, Asiatic Society of Mumbai; and Prof. Rama Kant Agnihotri (Retd), Dept. of Linguistics, University of Delhi. Ms Deepa Hari,Teacher, publisher’s editor and former civil servant moderated the session.
