Today marks two years since the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35 (A) that had given the erstwhile state of Jammu & Kashmir (J & K) its special status and the mandate to define its domicile rules. On August 5, 2019, the decision to bifurcate J & K into two Union territories, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, was taken, leaving a deep impact on the region and its people.
In this short video, the Indian Cultural Forum and Guftugu present some profound pieces of art and poetry on J & K by artists Rollie Mukherjee, Nilima Sheikh, Rajib Chowdhury, and poet K. Satchidanandan.
