औतो रॅने कास्तीय्यो की “इत्मीनान”

इत्मीनान

यही है उनके लिए
एहसास सबसे हसीं
लड़ते रहे जो ताउम्र
कि कह सके पहुंच कर
उम्र के आख़री मकाम पर

भरोसा किया था हमने
अवाम औ’ ज़िंदगी पर
और ज़िंदगी व अवाम ने
मायूस न किया हमें

यही है वह राह
कि चल के जिस पर
लड़के बनते जवांमर्द
और लड़कियां औरत
जिद्दोजहद करते हुए
अवाम औ’ ज़िंदगी के लिए
मुसल्सल

और जब ज़िंदगियां
उन मर्द-औरतों की
हो जाती हैं मुकम्मल
खोल देते हैं अवाम
अपने दिलों के दर

और उन दिलों के अंदर
मौजें मारता जो दरिया है
आगोश में ले लेता उन्हें
हमेशा के लिए

और उसमें गहरे उतर
रोशन रहते हैं वो
कहीं दूर दहकते हुए
तुंद अलावों की तरह

और बन जाते हैं फिर
एक मक़बूल नज़ीर
हमेशा के लिए

यही है उनके लिए
एहसास सबसे हसीं
लड़ते रहे जो ताउम्र
कि कह सके पहुंच कर
उम्र के आख़री मकाम पर

भरोसा किया था हमने
अवाम औ’ ज़िंदगी पर
और ज़िंदगी व अवाम ने
मायूस न किया हमें

 

Satisfaction

The most beautiful thing
for those who have fought a whole life
is to come to the end and say;
we believed in people and life,
and life and the people
never let us down.

Only in this way do men become men,
women become women,
fighting day and night
for people and for life.

And when these lives come to an end
the people open their deepest rivers
and they enter those waters forever.
And so they become, distant fires, living,
creating the heart of example

The most beautiful thing
for those who have fought a whole life
is to come to the end and say;
we believed in people and life,
and life and the people
never let us down.
