To mark the 78th anniversary of the Quit India Movement on August 9, workers and farmers across the country poured onto the roads to protest against the anti-workers, anti-farmers policy of the central and state governments. While workers called for Save India Day, farmers celebrated Kisan Mukti Diwas (Farmers Liberation Day).
