From Jan 26th, hundreds of women are on an indefinite sit-in to protest against the NPR-NRC-CAA at Nagpada, near Mumbai Central. Drawing inspiration from the protesters at Shaheen Bagh, these women have come out of their homes to express their identity as a community. Desperate times call for desperate measures, they say, who feel that the future of their children in the country is at stake. The women are determined to continue their protest until the government repeals the CAA 2019 and says no to NPR-NRC.
