"The citizenship crisis will not be resolved in Parliament or the courts… this battle will be fought on the streets and ultimately in our hearts," said Harsh Mander while speaking at a public briefing on "CAA/NRC/NPR: Unconstitutional, Nationally Divisive and an International Disgrace". Mander further said that the NPR will make NRC even more dangerous as it allows the state to handpick "doubtful" citizens. He called for everyone to address this issue urgently as it is a fundamental threat to Indian democracy.
