The CBI on Thursday, July 11, raided the residence of noted Supreme Court lawyer and former Additional Solicitor General of India, Indira Jaising. The CBI also conducted searches in Delhi and Mumbai offices of the Lawyers Collective in connection with a case of alleged Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) violation against it, its president Anand Grover and others. The Indian Cultural Forum had earlier interviewed Warisha Farasat, a New Delhi based advocate, who shared her views on the targetting of the Lawyers Collective by the Modi government.
