Newsclick spoke to sacked BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav, whose nomination was cancelled at the eleventh hour by the Election Commission on flimsy grounds. He was to take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi parliamentary constituency. Tej Bahadur was earlier terminated from service after he had posted a video on Facebook, complaining about bad quality food allegedly being served to jawans in the security forces.
