Participants complained of saffronisation and the propagation of anti-science ideas at the Teachers' Orientation Programme in JNU. Moreover, Prof. Pradipta Chaudhary, Dean of School of Social Sciences, who handled a session, was accused of physical harassment and passing of derogatory comments by those who attended the programme. The JNU Students' Union (JNUSU) also issued a statement, demanding Pradipta Chaudhary’s resignation.
