In the second part of a conversation with Pragati Mohapatra, who teaches at Indraprastha College for Women, Kumkum Sangari looks back at her book Recasting Women, which she co-edited with Sudesh Vaid. Mohapatra asks how Sangari would have approached this project if she had to do this now. Sangari answers that she would have given more emphasis on caste, neo-liberalism, misogyny and other factors if she undertook a similar project now.
