7 November, 2017 marks the centenary of the Great October Revolution in Russia. It was the first revolution in history which was led by the working class, with the short-lived 1871 Paris Commune being its predecessor. The October Revolution and the Soviet Union continue to inspire movements which aspire to build a world free of all exploitation and oppression.
