A protest meeting was called on 13 September 2017, to protest the Government of India’s decision to deport the Rohingya refugees and the ethnic cleansing of Rohingyas in Maynmar. The protest meeting was supposed to be held in front of the Maynmar embassy but was changed to Teen Murti in the last minute because the police intervened. Hundereds of protesters gathered outside Teen Murti, and marched till the Chanikyapuri Police station, where the protesters were stopped by the barricades installed by the Delhi police.
