In the first part of our roundtable with Heba Ahmed, Feba Rasheed, and Zainab Amal, we discuss the triple talaq judgement. Ahmed is a PhD research scholar at JNU, Rasheed has recently submitted her MPhil at the Department of English, University of Delhi, and Amal is an undergraduate student at Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi.
In the second part of the interview they discuss their own subjective experience as Muslim women insside educational institutions They also ask: why should patriarchy within Muslim men be seen as an exceptional form of patriarchy, one that is more severe than other religions.
