Huchangi Prasad is a dalit Kannada poet and journalism student. In October 2015, months after the publication of his first book of poems, Odala Kicchu (The Fire Within), Prasad was attacked by Hindutva goons who threatened to cut off his fingers. See the ICF collective’s interview with Prasad here.
