#MazdoorKisanStrike: A glimpse through posters

Around 25 crore workers, along with farmers from across the country are on strike today, against the central government’s anti-people policies. Considered the biggest organised general strike in the world, it has seen the participation of Anganwadi workers/helpers, healthcare workers, mid-day meal cooks and many others. Their demands include the withdrawal of anti-farmer and anti-worker laws and codes, social security for all workers, public healthcare for all, and the withdrawal of the National Environment Policy (NEP). Although organised by the country’s major trade unions, except the ruling party linked BMS, the strike call has been supported by various other constituencies like students, artists teachers, lawyers, doctors, and engineers.

Below, we present some of the most striking posters that have come out in solidarity with it — some by artists and others by progressive organisations.
