Tamil Nadu has been a hotbed of confrontation between a trigger-happy state and citizens protesting against the government's corporate welfare policies, industrial pollution and the forcible alienation of natural resources and farmland.
Jananaayagam (Democracy) is a musical reminder to the State that India is a country governed by a Constitution that protects dissent and celebrates democracy. It is an invitation to the State to abandon its corporate masters and stand by the people.
