Kashmir: Journalists struggle with internet shutdown

Journalists in Kashmir have been losing their jobs, as the internet shutdown in Kashmir since August 5 continues. While the local administration has set up a media facilitation cell in Srinagar, the internet speed is reported to be extremely slow. It's not feasible for journalists from remote areas of Kashmir to travel to Srinagar to file stories; they also fear that their email exchanges may not be secure.
